COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Colorado Springs Police have busted a group of alleged serial burglars, who they say is responsible for hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of stolen merchandise.
Police arrested 18-year-old Monique Rael, 20-year-old Katrina Abeyta and 22-year-old Nathaniel Gonzales. Officers are still looking for Gino Rael.
Gonzales and Gino Rael, who’s still on the run, were arrested for a similar string of burglaries two years ago. They were sentenced to two years in prison, but they got out early and police said they almost immediately went back to their old ways.
More arrests are expected.
