A Colorado Springs delegation talked about stormwater with Pueblo County Commissioners and city councilors Monday.
They discussed a new inter-governmental agreement that will make sure stormwater management is a priority for years to come. They are working quickly to finalize the details before turning on the southern delivery system water pipeline.
Colorado Springs hopes to begin pumping water in April, but Pueblo County has yet to give final approval. Colorado Springs has pledged to spend more than $200 million on stormwater in the first decade.
