COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A Colorado Springs man is under arrest after opening fire on his neighbors.
It happened Thursday night on Copper Creek Drive, near Circle and Monterrey.
Police say after a brief verbal exchange, 59-year-old Michael Oakes fired at least five rounds at his neighbors as they were walking up their driveway. No one was hurt.
Oakes was taken into custody on unspecified charges after police recovered evidence supporting statements from the victims.
