
PARK COUNTY, CO – Plans have been announced to memorialize the Park County Deputy Sheriff killed in the line of duty last week.
The service for Deputy Nate Carrigan will be two weeks from now, on Monday, March 14th, in Arvada.
Carrigan was one of three deputies serving an eviction notice on Bailey resident Martin Wirth. Wirth opened fire, killing Carrigan and wounding two other deputies. They shot and killed the homeowner whose residence had gone to foreclosure.
Deputy Carrigan’s service will be held at Faith Bible Chapel in Arvada, and will begin at 11 a.m.
