ARVADA, CO – Thousands turned out to honor fallen Park County Sheriff’s Corporal Nate Carrigan on Monday. A funeral procession traveled from Bailey to Arvada.
Carrigan was shot and killed while serving an eviction last month. The shooter was also killed.
The Park County community has displayed about 2,500 blue flags along Highway 285 to honor Carrigan. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorial contributions to a scholarship fund set up in Carrigan’s name with the Bank of the West.
