COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – According to a report from MySanAntonio.com, Elmore Sports Group will be meeting with San Antonio city officials next week to talk about potential plans to move the Colorado Springs Sky Sox to Texas.
The Sky Sox moved to Colorado Springs from Hawaii in 1988.
Elmore Sports also owns the San Antonio Missions, the Double-A affiliate for the San Diego Padres.
There is no deal in place right now, and if anything were to materialize from the discussions, it would be well off into the distant future.
