EL PASO COUNTY, CO – Falcon School District 49 is in the final stages of drafting a policy that would allow students who qualify to take cannabis extracts while at school.

The policy is very specific. Cannabis cannot be smoked or inhaled. It has to be in oil, pill, or lotion form. It also has to be given by a parent, guardian or qualified medical professional employed by the family.

The school board will take a final vote next month.
