Colorado Springs Parks Advisory Board to weigh in on proposed land swap

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The Colorado Springs Parks Advisory Board will weigh in today on a proposed land exchange between the city and The Broadmoor.

The city would get 156 acres of incline property in Manitou Springs, 8.6 acres in Bear Creek Park, and 208 acres around Seven Falls. In return, the city would give The Broadmoor 189 acres in North Cheyenne Canon called ‘Strawberry Field’.
City council will hear proposals and discuss the land exchange on April 25^th. A vote will be taken next month.
