COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Two men are under arrest in connection with two shootings in Colorado Springs.

Gunfire was first reported Monday night at an off-campus apartment complex off North Nevada near UCCS. No one was hurt. Multiple weapons had been fired inside the building, and the parking lot.

Wednesday morning, officers were called to a shooting near Pikes Peak and Parkside, where a wounded man was taken to a hospital. He’s expected to recover. Investigators say the incidents are connected.

The suspects, 19-year-old Dulio Martinez, and 23-year-old Timothy Flores, were later arrested and several items were taken into evidence, including a rifle. Martinez and Flores are in court today, charged with attempted aggravated robbery, and illegal discharge of a weapon into a dwelling; both felonies.
