PINEWOOD SPRINGS, CO – Two young brothers who died after falling into a fast-moving river in northern Colorado on Mother’s Day have been identified.
7-year-old Daniel Foreman and 10-year-old Paul Foreman of Lyons drowned in the Little Thompson River, in Pinewood Springs, Sunday afternoon.
The boys were laughing and playing in the river, when they were swept away. The boy’s father, Jeff Foreman, tried to enter the water and save them, but was also swept away by the current.
The river is a popular swimming spot, but signs warn people to enter at their own risk.
A GoFundMe account has been set up to help the family with funeral expenses.
