COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – 16 people are out of their homes after a fire at a Colorado Springs condo complex.
A 2-alarm blaze was reported Tuesday afternoon at the Hunting Meadows Condominiums near Chelton and Jet Wing. Four units are total loss.
One person was treated for a minor burn, and another was treated for smoke inhalation. The Red Cross is assisting eight of the displaced residents.
The cause of the fire is being investigated, but neighbors reported hearing an explosion that may have come from a propane tank on an outdoor grill.
