COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened early Wednesday morning on Colony Hills Road near Drennan.
According to police, a vehicle drove up to a group of people in the area and shot at them. Witnesses say they heard a total of five or six shots.
Two of those shots went through the front of the house, a woman inside was hit in the back. She was transported to the hospital, but her injuries are not considered life threatening, said police.
Witnesses told police they saw a small red sports leaving the scene. If you have any information call 444-7000.
