COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Police are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday afternoon in the Taco Bell parking lot near the intersection of E. Brookside St. and S. Nevada Ave.
One person was shot and transported to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries. His identity has not yet been released.
There is no danger to the public and principle parties have been identified, according to Colorado Springs Police Department.

The investigation is ongoing.
