PUEBLO, CO – The Rock Canyon Swim Beach at Lake Pueblo State Park remains closed after red stains were found along the shoreline.
It’s a form of protozoa, a single-celled organism.
Park staff have not determined whether it’s harmful.
The swim area will stay off-limits until the water is confirmed safe.
