COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Planned Parenthood gunman Robert Dear still is not competent to stand trial. That was a judge’s ruling Thursday.
He’s been undergoing treatment at the state mental hospital, in hopes of making him able to assist in his defense.
Another hearing will be in November, when the judge is expected to rule on whether to forcibly medicate Dear, and to prevent him from communicating with the media.
Dear admits killing three people and wounding nine at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood clinic last November.
