FREMONT, CO – Cleanup continues after Tuesday night’s flooding along the Hayden Pass burn scar.

The 17,000 acre wildfire near Coaldale stripped vegetation from the ground, allowing runoff to flow un-checked, much like what we saw after the Waldo Canyon Fire.

No one was hurt from the flooding, but a few of the homes, properties and bridges took quite a hit.

Bridges were washed out on County Road 40 and some homes were even left with water lines up to three feet.

More flooding is expected in that area until about October.
