COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A 3-month old baby is back home safe after he was taken by his father on Saturday.
Police were called to a home on Castlewood Lane, near Vickers, concerning a domestic violence issue. Before police arrived, 38-year old Jonathan Beatty fled the home with the child.
An Amber Alert was issued after police learned Beatty threatened to kill the child and the child’s mother.
He turned himself into police shortly after the alert was issued.
