DENVER, CO – A school bus driver is dead and several high school football coaches and players are in critical condition after a crash at Denver International Airport.
Investigators believe the driver had a medical issue before the crash.
The bus was carrying members of the Legacy High School football team after a trip back from California.
17 to 20 people were transported to the hospital after the wreck on level four of the east terminal at DIA. Officials at Denver Health told KUSA that they have five patients: two are in critical condition, two are in serious condition and one is in fair condition.
