COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Police are warning drivers to find a different route if their morning commute takes them near the intersection of Powers Boulevard and Constitution Avenue.
Two vehicles crashed there just before 1 am, killing one person, and injuring two other people. One person with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, and both lanes of Constitution are shut down as police work the crash scene.
Both directions of Powers Boulevard is also under lane restrictions.
It’s not clear when the roads will reopen, but police are asking drivers to avoid the area if possible.
