COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A two alarm fire in Colorado Springs forced more than a dozen businesses to shut down Monday.

The blaze was in a shopping center at Delmonico and Rockrimmon.

A possible gas leak popped up after the fire was under control, forcing the evacuation of the entire complex. Colorado Springs Utilities are still working to learn the cause of the leak.

The fire started in the attic of the Shelter Insurance office, but because the businesses are clustered so tightly together, 11 businesses were affected.

Firefighters are still working to determine the cause.
