PUEBLO, CO – An investigation is underway into a police shooting in Pueblo Monday night.
Authorities got a call about a shoplifting at a Kohl’s department store on North Elizabeth Street. The suspect was parked outside in a stolen vehicle. Officers tried to block him in, but the driver tried to run over the officers, who opened fire.
The driver was shot at least once and was taken to a hospital.
The officers involved are on routine administrative leave during the investigation.
