EL PASO COUNTY, CO – Crews have built a containment line around half of the Talcott Fire.
It’s burning in rough terrain near Rampart Range Road. 14 acres have burned. Evacuations have now been lifted.
50 homes in Green Mountain Falls and Crystola were threatened. Strong winds pushed the flames east, toward the Waldo Canyon burn scar.
The cause is under investigation.
