COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A Colorado Springs Utilities worker stabbed a man in self-defense late Saturday after being attacked when he confronted thieves trying to steal his truck. It happened near Wahsatch and Willamette.
The vehicle’s owner was reportedly attacked, and stabbed one of the assailants with a hunting knife.
Police found the suspected car thief in the street, and is now hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
There’s no word if any charges are pending.
