Thousands of Fort Carson troops to deploy in January

FORT CARSON, CO – More than 4,000 Fort Carson soldiers will head overseas this winter.

The Gazette reports, the post’s 3^rd Brigade Combat Team will arrive in Poland in January to join in Operation Atlantic Resolve.

It’s a string of training exercises designed to demonstrate America’s commitment to the region in the face of Russian moves.
