COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Confessed Planned Parenthood gunman Robert Dear returns to court this morning.
A judge could decide if 58-year-old Dear is mentally fit to proceed to trial. He’s been at the state mental institution in Pueblo since May, when the judge ruled that he suffers from a delusional disorder.
Dear killed three and wounded nine at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood Clinic last November. Prosecutors have not announced if they will seek the death penalty. Dear faces 179 criminal counts.
