FREMONT COUNTY, CO – A Penrose couple is facing animal cruelty charges for allegedly mistreating 63 horses.
Penny and Manny Gingerich had all of their personal and business horses seized by the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office and other authorities Friday morning.
A neighbor had accused the pair of not feeding, watering, starving, abusing and neglecting the animals. The couple denies the allegations.
