COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – An Airman whose family picture made the rounds on social media this past holiday season has returned home.
Air Force Staff Sergeant Brandon Sistrunk surprised his family by coming home to Colorado springs a few days early on Wednesday.
Sistruck had been serving overseas for the past six-and-a-half months.
In the now-famous picture, Sistrunk held a “merry” sign in Southwest Asia while his wife and four kids held a “Christmas” sign in the Colorado mountains
and the two photos were combined side-by-side to create a unique holiday card.
