COLORADO – The State Patrol is investigating a deadly, two-vehicle crash. It happened Saturday afternoon on Highway 160, about two-miles
West of Springfield, in Southeastern Colorado. A flatbed truck, driven by 54 year-old Adrian Bloomfield of Springfield, was hauling an oversized load.
A car, driven by 68 year-old Richard Montgomery of Pritchett, collided with the truck’s load, which was protruding into the opposite lane.
Montgomery suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash. there’s no word on any possible charges.
