COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – An El Paso County woman is asking a judge to keep her safe from an estranged husband accused of setting her on fire.
According to the Gazette, a Judge ordered Monday that Consepcion Rascon will remain in the El Paso county jail on $500,000 bond.
Rascon faces multiple counts of attempted murder, accused of trying to kill his estranged wife and their 14-year-old daughter.
The victims were inside an SUV last November when authorities say he doused Monica Rascon with gasoline and set her on fire.
Rascon returns to court on Friday.
