COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Two people are under arrest after allegedly assaulting a homeless couple overnight.
The victims were sleeping in a closed business near Academy and San Miguel.
Police say 18-year-old Raphael Woodridge and an unidentified juvenile male punched and kicked the homeless man in the head.
The suspects ran off, but were apprehended nearby. The female wasn’t hurt, but the male suffered serious injuries.
He is expected to survive. Both assailants are jailed on assault charges.
