COLORADO – Open-space advocates in Colorado Springs want the Broadmoor Resort to hold off on any construction in the Strawberry Fields open space.
People attending a public forum at Cheyenne Mountain Junior High School last night want to know when the resort plans to start building a horse stable and picnic area on the land.
They want construction delayed until the State Court of Appeals hears a lawsuit challenging the land swap giving the open space to the Broadmoor.
