PUEBLO, CO – Authorities in Pueblo are working to identify human remains found in an area near a train bridge in the 800-block of Gruma road.
The fire department was originally contacted concerning a brush fire at about 1:30pm on Monday. While firefighters were putting out the blaze, they found a body.
Pueblo Police investigators confirm the recovery of skeletal remains, which are believed to be that of a male.
They were unable to determine how long the body had been in the area.
