CAÑON CITY, CO – Authorities have yet to identify a man who was killed in a rafting accident Sunday in the Arkansas River in Fremont County.
A commercial raft flipped, leaving three people in the water. Two people got out safely, but an adult male did not.
Deputies performed CPR to no avail.
The victim’s identity will be withheld until his family is notified. The cause of the accident is unknown.
