COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – On April 30, 2017, at approximately 2:47AM, the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to the 5100 block of Galley Road, the Quail Hill Mobile Home Park, regarding a stabbing. When officers arrived they located an adult male with what appeared to be a stab wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
A person of interest was been identified and a possible address was located. With this information officers responded to the 3600 block of Sheffield Lane to try to speak to the individual. The officers currently have the house contained and Tactical Enforcement Officers have responded. This is an ongoing situation that has not concluded at this time.
The Colorado Springs Police Department’s Violent Crimes Section responded to the scene and initiated a death investigation. This is an active investigation. Detectives are conducting interviews and processing the crime scene.
