COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The Briargate area is sounding the alarm after an attempted kidnapping of a ten year old boy Monday.
The child was in the playground at Academy International Elementary when a man approached him in a black SUV with tinted windows, asking him if he needed a ride.
The boy dove into some nearby bushes until the threat was gone.
District 20 sent out a memo, urging parents to start a discussion with their kids about stranger danger.
