FOUNTAIN, CO – A mobile home fire spread to a grass fire Wednesday afternoon.
Crews were called to a single-wide trailer that was fully engulfed in flames in the 5700 block of Prong Horn Road several miles south of Pikes Peak International Raceway. The fire was in the Midway Ranch community.
The wind picked up and caused the fire to spread to nearby grass, burning about 10 acres.
The cause of the fire is unknown. As more information becomes available this article will be updated.
