Law enforcement is back out at an open space west of Pueblo searching for clues in the 2013 disappearance of Kelsie Schelling

PUEBLO, CO – Law enforcement is back out at an open space west of Pueblo searching for clues in the 2013 disappearance of Kelsie Schelling.

Schelling has been missing since February 4, 2013. She had just learned she was pregnant and drove from Denver to Pueblo to meet up with her boyfriend, Donthe Lucas, who was the last person who saw her. The family is offering a $50,000 reward for information in the case.

Officers are in the area with a dog searching the culvert.

On Monday, crews used a backhoe and shovels to excavate around a drainage ditch. The area isn’t too far from a home on Manor Ridge where investigators searched two weeks ago.

In that search, CBI and Pueblo Police searched the backyard of the home where her boyfriend used to live. After 2 days of digging, investigators removed several bags of evidence.
