COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Springs Police are on the hunt for an armed and dangerous man who carjacked a vehicle Monday afternoon.
The carjacker was involved in a crash near South Academy and Airport Road just after noon when police began a pursuit.
Two people were injured. Police say the suspect then got out of a vehicle with a long gun and carjacked a white 2008 Acura with license plate “781-KEC.”
He’s described as a heavy-set Hispanic man wearing glasses and a baseball cap.
Do not approach the car or the driver and contact law enforcement right away.
