DENVER, CO – Two CDOT workers are being hailed as heroes for pulling a driver away from a burning tanker truck in Denver on Tuesday.
The truck blew a tire, smashed into a median on I-25, and eventually exploded.
The two CDOT employees were the first on the scene.
Matt Bell and Richard Smith rushed to help the driver, Henry Dominguez, and stop traffic.
The victim is still recovering at a hospital.
