COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A 2 year old boy’s condition has been upgraded from critical to stable after being accidentally shot by his 3 year old brother Saturday afternoon.
The older child found a pistol in his mother’s purse.
Now, their mother, 30 year old Monica Abeyta, is now facing felony child abuse charges.
It happened on Driftwood Drive, near Meadowland and Academy.
