Former El Paso County Sheriff Terry Maketa was back in court Tuesday

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Former El Paso County Sheriff Terry Maketa was back in court Tuesday so his defense team could present what evidence they want and don’t want to be used in the June 27th trial.

The defense also filed a motion to exclude certain evidence of alleged sexual harassment.

The prosecution says it will only bring up sexual harassment cases involving Maketa.

The motions come less than a month after prosecutors raised serious concerns about their trial preparations in the wake of an unexpected resignation by junior prosecutor Grant Fevurly.

A pool of 90 people will be interviewed for jury selection.
