COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – No one was hurt when a semi caught fire on I-25 in Colorado Springs Thursday afternoon.

The truck was carrying a variety of hazardous chemicals, forcing the closure of the interstate at Cimarron for several hours.

Clean-up crews used by the trucking company were called in from Denver and New Mexico.

The Colorado Springs hazmat crew managed the initial hazard.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
