COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The Colorado Classic Bicycle Race begins today in downtown Colorado Springs.
Cyclists from all over the world are competing in the race, which moves to Breckenridge tomorrow, and to Denver Saturday and Sunday.
Several roads are closed as a result.
The Colorado Springs route begins downtown, along Colorado Avenue, and through Garden of the Gods.
The I-25 off-ramps will be closed at Bijou, along with some turn lanes on Highway 24.
Downtown businesses are celebrating with live music, food and lots of other entertainment.
