COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A Colorado Springs man is dead after a three-vehicle crash at Marksheffel and North Carefree Monday afternoon.
State troopers say a car turned in front of an oncoming pickup, and was struck.
The driver of the car, 25 year old Marcus Cardo, sustained fatal injuries.
He was not wearing a seatbelt.
The truck then hit an SUV, causing minor injuries to one of its occupants.
No one in the truck was hurt.
Investigators say Cardo failed to yield right of way.
