COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Still few details in a deadly officer involved shooting in Colorado Springs Monday night.
An unidentified man, who was allegedly shoplifting at the Platte Walmart, ran from officers.
They chased him for several blocks, to Bijou and Arrawanna and shots were fired.
The suspect died at the scene.
An officer involved has been placed on routine paid administrative leave.
The case is being investigated by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
