COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A Colorado Springs police officer is recovering after a violent altercation last night.
Police say Josh Garcia was attacking another man on Sussex Lane, near Academy and Constitution.
When an officer arrived, Garcia assaulted him, and a struggle ensued.
There were no serious injuries.
Garcia was booked for assault and harassment.
The officer was able to return to duty.
