FRUITA, CO – The numbers alone tell a shocking story: 13 years old and 25 pounds of meth.
The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office says a boy was driving a car.
Inside were his cousins, a 22-year-old man and his 19-year-old sister.
All three were arrested after being pulled over Tuesday on I-70 near Fruita, about 16 miles from the Utah border.
All three are from Los Angeles and face possible drug charges.
They were reportedly headed to Denver.
On top of not having a driver’s license, the 13-year-old is accused of failing to drive in a designated lane.
