A second teenage suspect is in custody in connection with the murder of a Colorado Springs liquor store owner

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A second teenage suspect is in custody in connection with the murder of a Colorado Springs liquor store owner.

The 16-year-old suspect was arrested Tuesday for suspicion of first-degree murder in the February death of Donat Herr.

Police previously arrested 19-year-old Phinehas Daniels and a 13-year-old suspect in connection with Donat’s death.

The three murder suspects are believed to have ties to a group that committed at least 6-armed robberies.
