PALMER LAKE, CO – A death investigation is underway after a body was found Sunday in the Mount Herman Road area where a mountain bike rider went missing last week.
The death is being investigated as suspicious.
61 year old Tim Watkins was reported missing Thursday.
His bike and a shoe were found nearby.
Meanwhile, hundreds gathered outside Palmer Lake Town Hall Sunday night to remember Watkins.
An autopsy is pending to make a positive identification, and determine the cause of death.
