The woman convicted of a notorious Colorado Springs murder is again trying for parole

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The woman convicted of a notorious Colorado Springs murder is again trying for parole.

Jennifer Reali appeared before two state parole board members in Englewood yesterday in her fourth attempt to be paroled.

Reali received a life sentence for the 1990 murder of Dianne Hood, but had that sentence commuted by Governor Bill Ritter in 2011.

Reali told the parole board members that the scheme to kill her victim was dreamed up by Hood’s husband Brian, who was having an affair with Reali at the time of the murder.
